Some were during the update process it screwed things up, the engine would run but very very poorly and had a missfire on cylinder #1. Over all it has gone really smooth, the only problem I have had is when I updated firmware using a USB to serial cable. Once the code is working for GM 7X with single tooth cam I will be running full sequential and coil on plug, as of right now Im running semi sequential and waist coil on plug. The engine management setup is a Megasquirt 3 with the 3X board, Im running a half moon cam sensor in the stock location of the power steering pump and coil on plug coils from a newer L61. Once I get everything done I will be putting in the back of the Corvair transversely mounted with a 5 speed manual transmission, so it will be more of a mid engine car with a considerably more power then the stock engine. The engine is a L61 2.2 Ecotec with Wisco pistons, Eagle rods, ARP head studs, the turbo is a GT28RS ceramic ball bearing turbo, and the injectors are 60lb/hr. Im working on a engine that Im going to put in a 66 Corvair, I just got it running on the test stand last weekend.
